Erica Davis, a Colorado-based private investigator, will address the May meeting of the Professional Private Investigator Association of Colorado (PPIAC).
Formerly with the Boulder Country Sheriff’s Office and the Longmont Police Department, Davis will speak about best practice when it comes to conducting background checks.
“Erica’s vast experience and training in background checks and reports will take some of the guesswork out of navigating through the FCRA (Fair Credit and Reporting Act) process and give insight on how to avoid mistakes PIs make when conducting background checks and pulling records,” says the PPIAC.
Erica and her husband Steve opened Davis & Associates Professional Background Services in Colorado in 2006. The company provides a variety of services including background checks, personal injury investigations, police and fire department background checks and integrity interviewing, and general investigations.
“As a team of 12 dedicated professionals, we bring a diverse range of skills and experiences to the table, ensuring a comprehensive and meticulous approach to every case we handle,” says the company website.
“Our staff comprises individuals with an abundance of knowledge and expertise, including seasoned professionals from fire and law enforcement backgrounds with over 100 combined years of experience in their respective fields.”
The May PPIAC meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 1, between 2pm-5pm, at 2851 S. Parker Road (Tower 1, ground floor conference room) Aurora. PPIAC members can attend in person or on Zoom.
